It's Holiday Time.

We're now at the final quarter of 2010. It's Holiday Time for most people. Christmas is just about 4 weeks away and soon it will be another New Year. What's your vacation plan?

Anyone planning a trip to Hawaii ?  One thinks of Hawaii`i and their thoughts will usually include an image of Waikiki Beach. This is basically a two mile stretch of coast fronted by hotels and tourism related facilities and the very beautiful Kapiolani Park.  Waikiki Beach is usually crowded but is a very nice area where one can swim, canoe, surf and snorkel.

Or a trip to Kuta, Bali. Once a lonely village on the road from Denpasar toward the Bukit  Peninsula, Kuta is now a thriving tourist resort, popular mainly among the young. It is a popular beach for surfing although currents make it less suitable for swimming. Coast guards, however, are on constant duty during the day. Kuta faces toward the west offering beautiful sunsets.
Accommodation ranges from international hotels to home stays. The village abounds with restaurants, shops, discotheques and other tourist facilities. It is easier to find regular performances of Balinese music and dance in Kuta, staged specially for tourists, than anywhere else in Bali. Some performances are staged nightly. The village is ideal for meeting and mixing with other people, locals as well as visitors from abroad.

Or to Taipei, Taiwan ? A gem in the China Seas, Taiwan embodies a unique entangling of ancient and modern, East and West. From the bustling commercial center of the capital city, Taipei, to the cascading volcanic mountains of Yushan National Park, Taiwan offers the world traveler an unmatched experience. It is no coincidence that Portuguese explorers named this island ‘Ilha Formosa’, or the beautiful island.

Maybe to Turkey? In many ways Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar is a popular tourist attraction of Turkey with its nearly 4000 colorful shops where merchants display variety of goods and insistent shop keepers. You can have a lot of fun with these guys. They sit in front of their shops and ready to bargain with the passing crowd any time. Keep in mind that the prices are always negotiable in Grand Bazaar.
Perhaps, it's simply Singapore? The Singapore Flyer is the world’s largest Giant Observation Wheel. A one-of-a-kind experience, and built over a three-story terminal building, the Flyer is 150 metres in diameter, 165 metres high, and travels at 0.21m per second and from it you’ll get to see such city sights as the Singapore River, Raffles Place, Marina Bay, Empress Place and the Padang. Each of its 28 city-bus-sized air-conditioned capsules can carry up to 28 passengers and a complete rotation of the wheel takes approximately 30 minutes.
How about cruising to the Bahamas ? A Carnival cruise to the laid back islands of The Bahamas is the perfect vacation to relax and unwind. The sun drenched shores of Nassau and Freeport feature sophisticated shopping, sizzling nightlife, delicious Caribbean cuisine and much more. And, the pristine white sand, turquoise waters, gentle surf and exotic marine life provide a paradise for any beach aficionado. With world-class fishing, Victorian mansions, museums, vibrant bazaars and colorful Bahamian houses -- there's always plenty to see and do on your Bahamas cruise.

So ... what's your plan.
